Quick start

You need a Pubrivo Workspace with at least one connected Channel. Verify your email from Settings › Profile before creating an API key.

  1. Create a key. In the dashboard, open Settings › API keys, give the key a name — what will use it, like “Weekly script” — and choose Create key. Copy it: it starts pbv_ and is shown once.

    Terminal window
    export PUBRIVO_KEY="pbv_…"
  2. Find a Channel. Each connected account is a Channel with an id.

    Terminal window
    curl https://app.pubrivo.com/api/channels \
    -H "Authorization: Bearer $PUBRIVO_KEY"
    {
    "data": [
    {
    "id": "5b0b6c1e-9f4a-4a57-8d1e-2c3f4a5b6c7d",
    "network": "threads",
    "name": "@nordlysbakery",
    "avatarUrl": null,
    "state": "connected",
    "canPostNow": true
    }
    ]
    }
  3. Schedule a post. Put the Channel’s id in channelIds, and a time at least 15 minutes from now in scheduledAt — an ISO 8601 instant, with Z or an offset.

    Terminal window
    curl https://app.pubrivo.com/api/posts \
    -H "Authorization: Bearer $PUBRIVO_KEY" \
    -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
    -d '{
    "text": "Cardamom buns are back on Saturday. Come early.",
    "channelIds": ["5b0b6c1e-9f4a-4a57-8d1e-2c3f4a5b6c7d"],
    "scheduledAt": "2027-01-23T07:00:00Z"
    }'

    A 201 comes back with the Post: one Variant per Channel, each scheduled.

  4. See it in the Calendar. The Post is there; the Agenda view labels it with your key’s name. Cancel it from the Calendar, or with POST /api/posts/{id}/cancel.

Next: authentication, scheduling and time zones, and the errors you can get back.
