Pick a plan, not a per-channel bill.

Buffer charges for every channel you connect — fifteen of them is $140 a month. Here, fifteen channels is $39. Choose a plan, and the bill is the plan.

A channel is one connected account — an Instagram account, a Facebook Page, a TikTok account. Storage is capped rather than charged: 5 GB on Free, 20 GB on Pro, 50 GB on Business.

Everything we do, and everything we don't.

The plans differ only in limits — channels, people, publishing volume, storage — and in inviting people by email, which needs room for a second person. Nothing we build is held back from Free. The rest of this table is what we haven't built, listed so you find out now rather than three weeks in.

— in one column means that plan does not include it.Not built means no plan has it, and we have no date for it.With Agency means it arrives with the Agency plan, which is not on sale yet.

Agency is not a column here. It is not on sale yet and two of its numbers are undecided, so squaring off the table would mean inventing them. What it will include is on its card above.

The questions a price alone doesn't answer.

What counts as a channel?

One connected account — an Instagram account, a Facebook Page, a TikTok account. A channel holds its place on your plan while it exists, whether or not its connection is healthy. Reconnecting an account you already added does not use a second one.

What happens when I hit a limit?

The action is refused and you are told which limit and by how much. Nothing is metered and nothing is billed for going over — there is no overage on any plan, because a surprise invoice is worse than a blocked button.

What happens if I downgrade?

You choose which channels survive, not us. If your workspace has more people than the smaller plan allows, the downgrade is blocked until you remove them by hand — we will never decide which of your colleagues loses access.

Do I lose scheduled posts when I downgrade?

Posts scheduled to a channel you drop are cancelled, and they say so. They are not silently held in a queue that will never fire, which is the one failure mode the whole scheduling design is built to avoid.

Is $39 the final price?

Prices are in USD and exclusive of tax. Where we are required to add tax, it is shown added before you reach the card form, never after.

What happens if a payment fails?

The card is retried on a fixed schedule over about two weeks. If it never succeeds, the subscription ends and the workspace moves to Free — the same path as cancelling on purpose, so nothing behaves differently because the reason was involuntary.

Does disconnecting a channel free up a slot?

Yes. Disconnecting a channel frees its slot immediately and stops us posting to it; its stored token is deleted 30 days later. The channel’s published posts stay in your history, and connecting the same account again brings it back.

What does posting to X cost?

X charges for every post, so posts to X use Post credits: $10 a month for 30 posts, plus tax where it applies, on any plan including Free. One pack is shared by every X account in the workspace; buy as many as you post. Unused credits don’t carry over. When they run out, new posts to X are refused until they reset or you add a pack.

Can I have more than one workspace?

Not yet. Each workspace has its own plan, and today an account has exactly one. Running separate brands or clients side by side is what Agency is for, and Agency is not on sale yet.

What if I need more than 5 people?

No plan you can buy goes above five yet. Email [email protected] and say how many — that is how we will decide what sits above Business. Agency will have no seat limit, and it is not on sale yet.

Still unsure? [email protected] reaches a person.
